The island of Malta is a small independent nation-state that is in the center of the Mediterranean in Europe and is the EU’s smallest member state. Mr. Abela started working in the kitchen at the age of ten years old Mr. Abela learned the art of baking and pastry before emigrating to the United States of America to help his mother in the kitchen.
